दो दिवसीय विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी में बच्चों ने दिखाई अपनी प्रतिभा

डबवाली-उपमण्डल के गांव चौटाला में स्थित राजकीय कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय की ओर से विद्यालय प्रांगण में दो दिवसीय विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी आयोजित की गई। जिसका उद्घाटन गांव के सरपंच आत्मा राम छिम्पा व प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती लक्ष्मी बिश्रोई ने संयुक्त रूप से किया। उक्त विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी में विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित मॉडल प्रस्तुत किए गए। जिसमें जैव विविधता, कृषि, हरित ऊर्जा, परिवहन और संचार, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य और गणित जैसे विषयों पर आधारित 76 मॉडल प्रस्तुत किए गए। प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन करने के लिए बॉयोलाजी के जिला स्तरीय लैक्चरर यादविन्द्र ङ्क्षसह विशेष रूप से पहुंचे तथा उन्होंने निर्णायक मण्डल में भी अपनी विशेष भूमिका निभाई। इसके अलावा उनका साथ विज्ञान अध्यापिका मनीषा, भारती, अनिल सुथार, अनुपमा एवं पंकज गौरैया ने दिया। यह जानकारी देते हुए प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती लक्ष्मी बिश्रोई ने बताया कि निर्णायक मण्डल द्वारा दीप्ति व सुनीता, मनदीप व सरोज, पूजा वर्मा व निर्मला छिम्पा, नेहा व कल्पना, किरण व सुनीता, जसप्रीत व अलका को क्रमश: प्रथम व द्वितीय घोषित किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त कई छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु सांत्वना पुरस्कार भी दिए गए। उन्होंने बताया कि आस-पास के क्षेत्र में स्थित विद्यालयों के विद्याॢथयों ने प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय का टीङ्क्षचग व नान टीङ्क्षचग स्टाफ तथा गांव के अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्ति मौजूद थे। कार्यक्रम अन्त में आए हुए सभी अतिथियों का प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती लक्ष्मी बिश्रोई ने आभार व्यक्त किया तथा सभी को इस अवसर पर जलपान भी करवाया गया।

युवा कांग्रेस का सदस्यता अभियान 3 से

डबवाली-युवा कांग्रेस द्वारा सदस्यता अभियान का आरम्भ 3 दिसम्बर को हिसार रोड़ सिरसा स्थित मंगलम पैलेस से दोपहर 1 बजे किया जाऐगा। उक्त अभियान का आरम्भ सर्वप्रथम सिरसा लोकसभा क्षेत्र से किया जा रहा है। जोकि एक कीर्तिमान स्थापित करेगा। उक्त शब्द युवा कांग्रेस सिरसा लोकसभा अध्यक्ष अमित सिहाग ने आज विधान सभा क्षेत्र डबवाली के युवा कार्यकत्र्ताओं की बैठक को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहे। उन्होंने कहा कि सदस्यता अभियान का आरम्भ राजस्थान अलवर के सांसद व अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के सचिव भंवर जितेन्द्र ङ्क्षसह अपने कर कमलों द्वारा करेंगे। सिरसा सांसद डॉ. अशोक तंवर समारोह में विशेष अतिथि के तौर पर शिरकत करेंगे। इसके अलावा अखिल भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष राजीव सातव व हरियाणा युवा कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष चिरंजीव राव भी उपस्थित होंगेे। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने उपस्थित सभी युवा कार्यकत्र्ताओं को इस अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए जी जान से जुटने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि वह अधिक से अधिक युवाओं का इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लेना सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने बताया कि राहुल गांधी का मानना है कि युवाओं को देश के विकास में योगदान देने के लिए राजनीति में आना चाहिए तथा युवा कांग्रेस इसका सशक्त माध्यम है। उन्होंने कार्यकत्र्ताओं को निर्देश दिया कि गांव-गांव व वार्ड-वार्ड जाकर युवाओं से संपर्क करें और उन्हें इस सदस्यता अभियान की जानकारी दें। जिससे ज्यादा से ज्यादा युवा इस अभियान के तहत जुड़ सकें। इस अवसर पर उनके साथ हल्का प्रधान कुलदीप सिंह, उप प्रधान विजय सहारण, जय सिंह कासणियां, रोहित मैहता, सुरेन्द्र सुथार, गुरदीप कामरा, संजय मिढा, रविन्द्र बिन्दु, सुखमन्द्र शेरगढ़, शहरी प्रधान अमन भारद्वाज, मनवीर सिंह मान, विंकी बांसल, अमन सिधु, मेजर सिंह जोगेवाला, कालूराम, वेदपाल डांगी, अंग्रेज सिंह, पवन रेगर, जगतार सिंह, राम कुमार सरपंच, इन्द्राज, भूपिन्द्र सिंह, राजेन्द्र मट्टू सहित अनेक युवा कांग्रेस कार्यकत्र्ता उपस्थित थे।

भूमि विवाद को लेकर एसडीएम को दिया शिकायत पत्र

डबवाली- स्थानीय वार्ड नम्बर 6 स्थित कबीर बस्ती निवासी किशोरी डाबला, राजेश कुमार, लाल चन्द, विनोद कुमार, देवी लाल, रवि कुमार, रिन्कू, बृज लाल, राजा पेंटर, पूर्व पार्षद बनारसी दास, चन्द्रकान्ता, बिमला, परमजीत, राज रानी, सन्तो रानी, भागवन्ती, शान्ति, सीतो देवी व अन्य मौहल्लावासियों ने आज उपमण्डलाधीश डॉ. मुनीष नागपाल को दिए प्रार्थना पत्र में प्रोपर्टी डीलर मंगा राम, नन्द राम व प्रवीण जैन सहित इनके कई साथियों पर उनके मौहल्ले में स्थित धर्मशाला व मन्दिर की भूमि पर कब्जा करने के आरोप लगाए हैं। उन्होंने अपनी संयुक्त शिकायत में लिखा है कि उक्त भूमि का रकबा खसरा नम्बर 371 व 374 में दर्ज है। उन्होंने आरोपियों के पास झूठे दस्तावेज होने का आरोप लगाते हुए उनकी जांच की मांग की है। उपमण्डलाधीश ने तुरन्त प्रभाव से कार्रवाई करते हुए तहसीलदार राजेन्द्र ङ्क्षसह व डीएसपी बाबू लाल को जांच के आदेश दिए हैं।

UK’s 2nd Hindu school to open next September

United Kingdom’s second Hindu state school will open next September in Evington (Leicester, East Midlands), according to reports।To be named Krishna-Avanti Primary School (Leicester), this “Free School” (no fee charged to parents) will reportedly provide 420 places for children aged 4-11 years and there is said to be a growing waiting list already. Besides outstanding academic opportunities, new school aims to provide a spiritual and moral framework while reflecting Hindu values. It plans to follow the national curriculum but also wants to reflect on Hindu culture and heritage. Leicester is reportedly home to the largest Hindu community in Europe outside London.
London based educational charity “I-Foundation”, which opened the voluntary aided Krishna-Avanti Primary School (KAPS) in Edgware (Middlesex) in 2008, is behind this new school and is also planning to open primary and secondary schools across North and East London with similar focus. Its aim is to help children realise their spiritual, moral and academic potential in an environment centred on loving service to Lord Krishna. I-Foundation is the promoter of Hindu state education in the UK with Nitesh Gor as its Board Chairman.The already existing KAPS claims to be one of the most eco-friendly schools in the country, nurtures character and conduct consistent with Vaishnava virtues, provides opportunities to practice yoga and meditation, and is vegetarian. Mrs. N. Parmar is the Head Teacher.
Applauding efforts to launch the second Hindu school in UK, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged the Hindu community worldwide to open more Hindu schools outside India.
In a statement in Nevada (USA) today, Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, said that with the economically strong Hindu community spread throughout the world, funding should not be a problem to open such schools. These would help Hindu children to strengthen their spiritual and moral roots and enlighten interested non-Hindus about the concepts and philosophy of the oldest and third largest religion of the world. With a stronger commitment of Hindu community, we would not even need state help, Zed argued.
Such schools would go a long way in nurturing Hindu virtues among our children and give them a spiritual identity. Moreover, these could help counter the misinformation about Hinduism prevalent in the West and promote Sanskrit, Rajan Zed added.

Many Christian churches in USA offer yoga

Many Christian churches in USA are offering yoga instruction, according to reports।
Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Santa Monica (California) offers “Restorative and Hatha Flow Yoga” class to “reduce stress and tension while promoting healing and growth”.
St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Washington (DC) “has offered quality yoga instruction” since 1978 emphasizing “effective breathing, mastery of asanas (comfortably held postures), relaxation, positive thinking, and meditation as elements of healthy spiritual living that promote happiness and true knowledge of self”.
Yoga classes, to “find peace within”, lead by six instructors at Mountain Park Community Church in Phoenix (Arizona) has “over 800 people enrolled in the nine classes that are offered six days each week”. Pineville United Methodist Church of Pineville (North Carolina) offers “Chair Yoga” and “Floor Yoga”. Vale United Methodist Church in Oakton (Virginia) offers yoga class suitable for all ages.
Old Stone Church (Presbyterian) in Cleveland (Ohio) offers “No-sweat Yoga” and describes Hatha Yoga as “a gentle practice that assists in releasing internal pressures”. Class is “held in the Chapel - a beautiful space filled with candlelight and stained glass - a peaceful place for meditation and relaxation”.Sunbury United Methodist Church in Sunbury (Ohio) offers class which focuses “on learning a series of poses to form the foundation of a personal practice”. “Yoga stretches improve circulation, muscle tone, joint and muscle flexibility and balance”, it points out.
St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wayne (Pennsylvania) is offering “A Quiet Morning of Yoga and Centering Prayer” on December four. “We will spend 30 minutes experiencing the richness of centering prayer, 60 minutes enjoying a vigorous yoga practice and 30 minutes in a guided meditation for a deep, conscious rest. We promise you will head back into the holiday hustle and bustle centered, focused and energized”, it claims. It also offers “Yoga with Spirit” “vigorous yoga classes”.
First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Charlotte (North Carolina) has yoga classes. “Yoga for Every Body” class is held at Sardis Baptist Church in Charlotte by a Hatha Yoga instructor. The Way of Life Church (Assembly of God) in Ventnor (New Jersey) offers “Spiritual Yoga” and says “Spiritual Yoga involves the total person: spirit, mind, and body”.
Church of Saint Paul the Apostle (Roman Catholic) in New York (New York) offers “series of yoga postures, set to music”. University Lutheran Church and Student Center in Norman (Oklahoma) reportedly sponsored a market on October nine, which was to offer free yoga instruction.
Welcoming the widespread interest in yoga, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that although introduced and nourished by Hinduism, yoga was a world heritage and liberation powerhouse to be utilized by all. One could still practice one’s respective faith and do yoga. Yoga would rather help one in achieving one’s spiritual goals in whatever religion one believed in.Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that yoga, referred as “a living fossil” whose traces went back to around 2,000 BCE to Indus Valley civilization, was a mental and physical discipline handed down from one guru to next, for everybody to share and benefit from. According to Patanjali who codified it in Yoga Sutra, yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical. Yoga was based on an eightfold path to direct the practitioner from awareness of the external world to a focus on the inner, Zed added.Rajan Zed argued that yoga, which never had any formal organization, was the repository of something basic in the human soul and psyche.
According to National Institutes of Health, yoga may help one to feel more relaxed, be more flexible, improve posture, breathe deeply, and get rid of stress. Swami Vivekananda reportedly brought yoga to USA in 1893. According to an estimate, about 16 million Americans, including many celebrities, now practice yoga.

सर्पदंश से किसान की मौत

बड़ागुढ़ा- गांव बप्पां की बिश्नोईयों की ढाणी में एक किसान की सर्पदंश से मौत हो गई। दलीप बिश्नोई नामक किसान अपने खेत में पानी लगा रहा था कि तभी अचानक उसका पैर सांप के बिल पर पड़ गया और बिल के अंदर छुपे सांप ने उसे डस लिया। जैसे ही सांप का जहर उस पर चढऩे लगा तो उसे चक्कर आने लगे और वह अपने घर की तरफ भागा। परिजनों को सारी बात बताने पर परिजन उसे नजदीक के एक नाथ के पास ले गए, लेकिन नाथ ने जहर पूरे शरीर में फैलने की बात कहकर जल्द से जल्द चिकित्सक के पास ले जाने की सलाह दी। उसके बाद वे दलीप को सिरसा के सामान्य अस्पताल ले आए, लेकिन यहां चिकित्सकों ने जांच करने के बाद उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
